Having been in the industry since 2003 with 2 major franchise groups, in 2013 Tim and Rachel McCollum decided to progress their business to the next level and launch their own Real Estate brand “SYNERGY” which represents what they are passionate about, everyone working together.

Real estate offices are often a “Dog Eat Dog” environment with agents not wanting to share commission. The result is the only buyers that can buy the property are the buyers that deal with the listing agent that see the property advertised in time. The result is that buyers miss out on an opportunity to buy the property, the sellers only option is to spend money on marketing to generate enquiry and they may still undersell the property costing them significant money due to buyers that may have paid more missing an opportunity to make their best offer.

The culture at SYNERGY is all about the agents working in with each other to ensure all buyers they meet have the opportunity to view all the properties the office has listed for sale. Buyers are more likely to be informed of a new listing and provided every opportunity to inspect the property and have their best offer presented to the vendor. The result is that more buyers have an opportunity to buy the property which helps the buyers and ensures the vendors are more likely to achieve a higher price for the property. Vendors also have the option to not spend any money on marketing by allowing the team to work their data base. The agents are to do everything possible to work in the very best interest of the vendor, to provide all buyers every opportunity and to work in with each other.
